AI Agent Builders vs Claude, Set Up for You

Dust, Lindy and Zapier Agents can do the work, which puts them closer to a company brain than any search tool. The catch is that you design every agent and write every rule yourself. I set up standard Claude Team with the jobs built and your rules written down, for one team, in 14 days.

Written by Gabe Pérez, who sets up Claude for small teams. Prices checked October 26, 2026.

Trains on your dataDust's terms forbid itNo. It runs on Claude Team, which doesn't by default
After launchYou maintain every agent you builtA day-30 check on who's using it, then your team runs it, or Release care keeps it current for $997 a month
10 people, first yearAbout €2,880 (€24 a seat a month, billed yearly; €30 monthly)$2,400 of Claude Team seats, plus $3,997 once

Where Agent Builders Win

If you have a builder on the team, these are good tools.

What they do better

  • You can pick between many models for each job.
  • They're made for lots of agents across many departments.
  • You can start small with one agent and add more as you learn.

Where my setup falls short

  • It's Claude only. If your team won't give up ChatGPT or Copilot, you'd pay for both.
  • It moves with Anthropic. When they change a feature, the setup has to change with it: your team does that, or I do on Release care.
  • One person does it: me. You're betting on my calendar, which is why the guarantee comes with all your money back.
  • It's priced for one team of up to 20. A bigger company, on Claude Team or Enterprise, gets scoped on a call, and needs someone in IT who owns permissions.
  • It drafts and never sends. Someone still reads every proposal before it goes out.
  • If someone on your team already lives in Claude and has the hours, coaching for $1,997 gets you most of the way.

Our skills and commands went from 41 to 103 in a month. We deleted 52, and the pile grew back anyway. Agents need someone whose job includes pruning them. Why we deleted 52.

Why Me

Anyone can call themselves an AI expert now. I've put machine learning into production, published on it, and built the hard version of this by hand, on my own company.

Questions About Agent Builders

Help Topics
_ □ ×
Can't I build this in Dust or Lindy myself?
Yes. The tools aren't the hard part. Deciding what each agent should do, writing down the rules they all follow and fixing them when they drift is, and that's most of what I do in the 14 days.
What about Zapier or n8n?
Good for moving data between apps on a trigger. They don't hold your company's context, so each flow needs its own instructions. The brain can sit next to them.
Do the overnight jobs send anything?
No. They write drafts and file tasks. A person sends every email. Why ours sends none.
